Logoed T-Shirt
Screen printing is the process of applying colored inks to fabric. Garments are placed on a textile press where the color is applied one at a time via screens that separate the colors within the image. These are overlaid until all the colors of the image are applied to the material. 

Once the colors are applied, the garments are sent through a textile dryer where the inks are dried. The end result is a product with a colorful design on it.

Below are answers to some questions to help you with the process.

  1. What To Do First - Determine the budget you have to work with, then pick the type of apparel you would like from our catalog. You can request a catalog from our "Request Information" page. Send us the information by using our online form or fax it to our office. Our professional staff will contact you to help you with the process.
  2. How Long Will It Take - Screen printed jobs are usually completed in approximately 7-10 working days from start to finish. If you need a rush order, please ask. We will let you know when your job can be completed.
  3. Minimum Orders - Our minimum is only 24 pieces. You may mix garments to meet the minimum and/or receive quantity breaks.
  4. Setup Cost - This is a one-time charge which covers the labor for making the necessary artwork and/or outputting your files and preparing the initial screens for printing. We use one screen per color. In most cases, the price includes film for our files; however, this does not include the cost for additional film copies or actual screens to leave ABco. For complex artwork, there may be additional film charges.
  5. Quantity Pricing - Quantity pricing on all garments is available upon request.
  6. Payment Methods - Orders require a 50% deposit at start-up with balance due upon completion. We also accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
  7. Artwork - For a charge, ABco Marketing can work from any image that you provide. To avoid a setup charge, we will need camera ready artwork. Contact customer service for more information. 
  8. Proofs - For small jobs, we often proof a color output of your design by fax or e-mail. If you would like to see the first shirt off the press, this is called a "press proof." A proof is recommended for large orders or complex artwork. The minimum charge for a proof is $5.00 per color. If the time exceeds 1/2 hour, we will bill at an hourly rate for press time. Customer Service can  help you in scheduling a press proof if desired.
  9. Reorders - Reorders are no problem; although, there is a small reset charge per color.
